RideOnTrack and Engie Ineo UTS sign a contract for the delivery of a fixed operational communication system.

RideOnTrack can report another important win. On November 9, RideOnTrack and Engie Ineo Urban Transport Solutions (UTS) signed a contract for the delivery of a fixed operational communication system for the regional express train between Dakar and the AIBD airport in Senegal. The Geo-redundant DiCa solution of RideOnTrack will be used to dispatch all operational telephony and will be connected with the GSM-R switch of Huawei. RideOnTrack also integrated the Zenitel intercom system (emergency phones, heavy duty phones, platform announcement phones, etc.). Engie Ineo UTS will manage the different telecom building blocks via their SCADA umbrella management system and for that purpose RideOnTrack will integrate the DiCa SNMP V3 engine. Furthermore, RideOnTrack will supply voice recording and playback and as an option an SMS-functionality between the dispatcher and the train driver. The contract includes a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) in Geel (Belgium), an integration test cycle with all operational telecom systems in Madrid (Spain) and a SCADA management integration in Nantes (France). As per current planning, RideOnTrack will install the system in Dakar around the June time frame. Once the system reached field acceptance, RideOnTrack will be responsible for 3 years warranty and maintenance.
