The modules within this path dive deep into the data visualization tools used for Radio Performance Measurement in Railway and Telecom operations as offered by CodiTrack.

Objectives:

Upon successful completion of the "Radio Performance in CodiTrack" Learning Path, the trainee will:

  • Understand the components of the CodiTrack platform
  • Have a detailed overview of CodiTrack's Radio Performance measurement features tailored for the railway sector
  • Be able to navigate the platform's graphical user interface (GUI)
  • Understand the methodology of radio signal performance measurement using CodiTrack.
  • Understand and evaluate key metrics such as RSSI, RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, download and upload speeds, etc.
  • Comprehend how to leverage these insights to enhance railway radio infrastructure, ensuring continuous and effective network performance.
  • Comparing real-time data with historic measurements

Objectives:
  • Learn to navigate the different elements of the Playback Feature
  • Select the relevant measurement source (CodiTrack equipped train, Cellphone, ...) to display the logbook of performed measurements
  • Replay the position, velocity, and measurements of the selected source
  • Generate graphs of the performed measurements related to the measuring time
  • Simulation of relevant use cases for Rail IMs, including checking of train velocity over time, stop durations, and loss of network service
