As Chief Technology Officer, Bert leads RideOnTrack’s Engineering and Support teams. Bert has extensive technical expertise in software engineering and product development. Before taking on the role of CTO, Bert was RideOnTrack’s principal engineer. Bert has a strong interest in Telecommunication and Information Technologies and is an outspoken fan of Apple’s Product Engineering.

Bert received his MSc and PhD in Physics from the University of Antwerp. His Doctoral thesis is titled: “Targeted Immobilization of Globins on Mesoporous Materials: A Spectroscopist’s View”.
