Essential Call Functionalities
Enable operators to manage communication quickly and efficiently through an intuitive dispatching interface. From initiating calls to managing active conversations, all essential functions are designed for speed, clarity, and ease of use in mission-critical environments. Operators are able to set up calls with 2 clicks in their own dedicated fast keys page.
Call Prioritisation
Ensure critical communication is always prioritised. MCCS manages incoming calls, allowing emergency communication to override standard traffic and ensuring operators can respond immediately to high-priority situations.
Reliability and High Availability
Built for environments where downtime is not an option. MCCS ensures continuous operation through redundancy, failover mechanisms, and robust system architecture, maintaining communication even in critical scenarios.
Client Configuration
Adapt the dispatching client to match operational needs. Managers can centrally configure profile settings, phonebooks, layouts, and preferences, with full control over which functionalities each user can access.
Functional Logins
Enable role-based access tailored to each user. Control room managers can define and manage operator profiles that determine access to the right tools, permissions, and configurations. This enables quick onboarding and consistent configurations throughout all control rooms.

Components
Dispatcher Application Server
The Dispatcher Application Server offers robust uptime, rich calling features, and flexible connectivity with various communication systems.
The server brings several core applications together on one centrally managed platform. At its heart, a SIP Core with the SIP Call Flow Manager (SCFM) intelligently routes and prioritises all calls between connected systems, while integrated voice logging and SIP‑REC recording capture conversations securely for audit, incident review, and quality monitoring. Additional tools handle health monitoring, configuration and user management, remote administration, and the safe storage of configurations, logs, and recordings. This makes the Dispatcher Application Server a complete, manageable solution for critical voice communication.
Dispatcher Client
Our MCCS client’s UI is simple and intuitive, helping operators handle day-to-day communication quickly and confidently, even in emergencies.
The MCCS Client provides operators with a clear overview of active calls, queues, and priorities, plus quick access to phonebooks, groups, and frequently used functions. It supports role‑based profiles, so each user sees the tools, layouts, and settings that match their responsibilities, reducing training time and improving consistency across shifts.
Gateways
Gateways are hardware or software components that connect the MCCS‑Server to external communication networks and translate between different technologies, so all systems work together as one unified communication platform.
RideOnTrack can provide gateways that connect to all kinds of technologies. This not only includes legacy networks, such as TETRA, GSM-R, and PSTN, but also modern technologies such as MCX and FRMCS. They allow organisations to integrate existing infrastructure, support phased migration from legacy technologies, and present a unified call experience to operators.
MCX Technology
MCCS can be deployed using RideOnTrack’s MCX technology, no need for a gateway.
Interworking Functions
Connects legacy/public network cores with modern MCX services so calls and messages continue to work during migration from narrowband to broadband infrastructure.
MCCS Supporting Applications
Call Recording & Playback
Continuously capture all dispatching conversations and search, review, and download recordings with RideOnTrack’s secure web-based interface.

Why customers choose MCCS
“The start of our collaboration with RideOnTrack provided an exceptional chance for the company to demonstrate its technical capabilities and expertise in the field of operational telecommunication. The end customer, who is using RideOnTrack’s dispatch equipment, had high expectations for both the quality of the solution and the timeliness of the implementation. I am thrilled to announce that our customer was extremely impressed with the final result. This successful project served as a testament to the reliability and dependability of RideOnTrack as a partner, and has set a strong foundation for continued collaboration and future projects.”
“ProRail is pleased with the GRI Dispatching Renewal project. RideOnTrack offered the needed tech functionality and translated our requirements into digital flows, reducing system overhead by 10x. RideOnTrack delivered on its promise of providing the system definition, development, and implementation within the agreed-upon timeframe of 1 year. We really appreciated their strong support and commitment during the implementation period to ensure the project’s success. RideOnTrack has proven to provide a reliable, efficient, and innovative dispatching solution.”
“Infrabel modernized its IP network by transitioning from TDM systems to cutting-edge IP communication solutions. This was due to the end of life of several TDM systems and the need to stay ahead in new features and applications. Infrabel partnered with RideOnTrack, known for its operational telecom expertise, for the dispatching system. The IP network renewal initiative was successful and delivered increased reliability, scalability, and security. It also enabled Infrabel to use the latest technologies and applications for future growth and innovation. Infrabel’s choice of RideOnTrack as a partner was critical to the success of the program and established Infrabel as a benchmark for modern dispatching communication in the industry.”
