Successful participation at the 10th ETSI MCX Plugtests
🎉 Proud to share that RideOnTrack has successfully participated in the 10th MCX Plugtests™ event, held in Sophia-Antipolis, France (18–22 May 2026)!
MCX Plugtests are multivendor interoperability events organised by ETSI, bringing together the leading players in mission-critical communications to test real-world compatibility of MCX (MCPTT, MCData, MCVideo) implementations.
We participated to put our MCX technology stack to the test. Integrating and connecting with technology from other key players in the mission-critical communications industry, and validating true end-to-end interoperability in a real multivendor environment.
We’re happy to report a very successful week, completing interoperability tests across a wide range of scenarios, including:
✅📞 Basic & Group Call Behaviour — on-demand prearranged MCPTT group calls, automated commencement mode, multivendor group call scenarios
✅👥 Group Management — group affiliations, dynamic group data subscriptions, CSC subscriptions, and adding/removing users during live sessions
✅💬 Data Services — MCData Short Data Service (SDS), both private and multivendor group SDS over SIP
✅📍 Location Services — full LMC/LMS integration, including LMC registration, location configuration, and real-time location requests for MC service IDs
A standout highlight: our RideOnTrack Dispatcher was one of the only fully functional LMC (Location Management Client) on-site, delivering a live location demo with real-time tracking of registered MCX clients (including both RideOnTrack and third-party clients) on an interactive map, with location-based call initiation.
Thank you to ETSI and all participating vendors for making this another productive and collaborative event. We look forward to continued interoperability work in the MCX ecosystem! 🚀
